During our free consultation interview you will get to meet the midwives, have your questions answered, and get a tour of our birthing center. Prenatal Visits
We offer full prenatal care and follow the same schedule of appointments as do OB/GYN’s. Prenatal visits every month until 28 weeks, then every two weeks until 36, weeks then every week until delivery. We value family centered and participative care where you have the ultimate choice in decisions for your care. Through our unhurried visits you will be able to get to know the midwives who will be at your birth and have your questions and concerns addressed.
Home or Birthcenter births
We offer deliveries in the birth center and home setting to best accommodate your needs. Our birthing suite has a full bathtub for laboring and or water birth, a waiting room for family and access to a full kitchen. For homebirth we bring all of our birthing equipment to your home and after the birth will assist in the clean up. We also have birthing pools for rent for homebirths.
Postpartum Care
We offer full newborn care for the first 6 weeks postpartum. Your baby is not required to see a pediatrician unless recommended by the midwife. For the first week after delivery we will come to your home for visits to weigh and assess the baby, offer newborn screening, follow your recovery and answer any questions or concerns.
